AssistFit: Weekly Yoga (Calgary)

AssistFit provides the legal community in Calgary with complimentary yoga sessions every week. lead by our lawyer and judiciary volunteers, who are certified fitness instructors.

Yoga helps professionals manage stress, focus better, sleep deeper, and ease pain. We encourage you to join us in maintaining a healthy lifestyle with other lawyers, law students, and guests.

Tuesdays at 5:30 PM

Who can attend?
– Classes are open to all genders, ages, and fitness levels. Support staff and guests are welcome.

What to bring?
– A yoga mat, comfortable workout clothes, and water.

Suffering from some physical limitations?
– Let the instructor know if you have any concerns, and she will accommodate them. Optional poses are provided throughout the class.

Not very flexible?
– The instructor incorporates breathing and positional changes throughout the class. Sessions focus on weight shifting, balance, strength, and mindfulness.
